Are beeswax candles healthier?

Certainly, beeswax candles are a much healthier choice than most other alternatives. They are non-toxic and lack the harmful chemicals that may be present in other candle types. Furthermore, beeswax candles burn more cleanly, producing minimal smoke as they are not oil-based like paraffin candles. Additionally, beeswax is biodegradable and is a natural product that does not undergo any chemical processing.

Why is my candle producing black smoke?

If you observe significant black smoke emanating from your candle, the length of the wick may be the issue. An excessively long wick can lead to a rapid burn rate of the candle. To address this, ensure that you trim the wick to approximately one-quarter inch prior to each lighting. In the event that the wick begins to smoke during a prolonged burn, simply reduce its length to the same quarter-inch measurement.

How are Shipping and Taxes calculated?

After thorough deliberation, we have determined that we prefer to avoid unexpected charges at checkout, including shipping, handling, and taxes. Consequently, we have incorporated these costs into the price of each candle. The amount displayed on the page reflects the total price you will pay. This straightforward approach allows you to know precisely what you are spending by the time you reach the checkout.

How long should I burn a candle?

Generally, it is recommended that candles be burned for no more than four hours at a time. Extended burning can pose fire risks and lead to irregular burning patterns. For the first use, it is important to allow the wax to melt fully across the top of the container to prevent "tunneling," a phenomenon where only the center of the candle is utilized.
